Thinking of renting?

Renting from Prime Metro Properties could not be easier. As a prospective tenant you can search for suitable accommodation from our website where we provide full property details and professional photography or you can visit us at either our Head Office at Baker Street or Swiss Cottage and register your requirements in person.

Step 1 - Searching for your property

Once you register we’ll send you full details of every property that matches your requirement and one of our Negotiators will work with you to keep you updated of all new properties that are coming onto the market and confirm the best properties available for you in your budget range and time scale. All viewings are accompanied by an experienced negotiator who is on hand to guide and advise giving valuable local knowledge.

Step 2 - Placing an offer

Once you’ve found a suitable property, either let us know at the viewing or as soon afterwards as possible and we will put your offer forward to the landlord immediately. You will need to sign an offer form stating your offer, any requirements and your circumstance whether you are a professional or student. In conjunction with the offer form, you will need to transfer a holding deposit, this will secure the property subject to reference checks.

Step 3 - Offer acceptance and move in

On acceptance of your offer, we will supply you with a statement outlining all the information for the Tenancy Agreement and you're right to rent. We will provide you with a draft contract and offer acceptance letter outlining the terms under which you are taking the property. If the Landlord withdraws from the process, then you will be refunded the holding deposit in full. Should you withdraw from the Process then this deposit will be retained by the Landlord. Prior to the commencement of your tenancy date, 6 weeks deposit and rent (this could be one month or in advance depending on your personal circumstances) administration and inventory charge needs to paid in cleared funds, once this has happened the tenancy can begin. Once you have moved in make sure you take regular meter readings and inform the relevant utility provider. You should also do this when you move out.
